“I’ve done so many photo sessions in the past where there was professional hair and makeup and a kind of performance aspect, an “on with the show.” This opportunity of just showing up as I am was also an opportunity to access exactly what was present for me. So it kept me really focused in the present moment to explore the depths of the variety of expressions that wanted to come through. It was like a therapy session, but not just taking therapy, like movement therapy as well.

This session was actually a surprise in how liberating and freeing it was for me, instead of needing to be perfect and put on a performance this experience allowed this enoughness to radiate.”
