What a special wedding this was.  Samantha and Josh are such warm and giving people, and so very much in love.  They had a wonderfully intimate wedding with only 20 or so guests at a beautiful private residence in Santa Barbara, aptly names The Oasis.  Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they had a relaxed and romantic celebration.  One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is all the incredible people I get to meet, and meeting them on such an important day in their lives is such a gift.  The families of Josh and Sam, and of course the couple themselves, were endlessly kind to me and made me feel like part of the celebration.  I mean, I’ve never had a bride insist I have some of the wedding cake and even try to find a tupperware to take some home to my husband.  So much sweetness and love.

The moment when the glass the groom was meant to break at the end of the ceremony instead when flying into the coy pond with the absurdly large coy. The brides incredibly unique dress custom made by an Etsy artist.  The ease with which both the adopted and birth families of the bride came together to celebrate a beautiful woman they both love so much and her love of a good man.  It was such a special day, and such and incredible honor to be a part of.  I wish you all the best in you future together, you two, thank you for letting me be part of your big day.
